Welcome to the Urbano Book Club
There is something special about gathering around a table with a good book, a warm cup of coffee, and meaningful conversation. At Urbano, we have always believed in creating a home away from home—a place where people can connect, learn, share ideas, and build friendships. That vision is what inspired the creation of the Urbano Book Club.
We are excited to officially launch a monthly book club designed for readers of all backgrounds and interests. Whether you are an avid reader who finishes several books a month or someone looking for a reason to pick up a book again, you are welcome here.
The Urbano Book Club will meet on the third Thursday of every month from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Urbano in Sierra Vista, Arizona. Each month we will select a book to read together, followed by an engaging discussion in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Drinks, coffee, and light snacks will be available for purchase during each gathering.
We are also thrilled to introduce our Book Club Facilitator, Ellen Grant Walker. Ellen brings a passion for reading, thoughtful discussion, and community building that will help make this club a place where everyone feels comfortable sharing ideas and perspectives. She will guide discussions, coordinate reading schedules, and help foster a welcoming environment for both new and returning members.
Our inaugural meeting will take place on Thursday, June 18th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Our first selection will be I Will Always Write Back by Caitlin Alifirenka and Martin Ganda, an inspiring true story about an unlikely friendship that spans continents and changes lives.
We invite you to join us as we begin this exciting new chapter. Together, we’ll explore great stories, discover new perspectives, and build a community of readers right here at Urbano.
